How to set up private nameservers

Private nameservers are your own DNS nameservers. They use your domain (for example, ns1.yourdomainname.com and ns2.yourdomainname.com) instead of the name of your web hosting company (for example, ns1.hostpapa.com).

Private nameservers for reseller plans

Private nameservers are ideal for resellers who are trying to establish their brand. They look professional and make the process of transferring between servers much more straightforward.

In the case of a transfer, you will not need to contact each of your clients as the reseller. The transfers will begin propagating to the new server as soon as you update your nameserver IP addresses.

Private nameservers for VPS plans

If you have a VPS plan, you can register and use private nameservers like ns1.YourDomainName.com and ns2.YourDomainName.com. If you already have private nameservers, you can update them with your new VPS account’s IP addresses.

To set up your private nameservers for a reseller or VPS plan, or if you need help with your Reseller or VPS accounts, please open a support ticket from your dashboard.
